About the Cartoonist...

While Frank Monahan, M.B.A., C.C.P. is not being rejected by such prestigious magazines as the New Yorker and the Saturday Evening Post, he is the Vice President of Compensation at a large unnamed corporation (not that the corporation is actually unnamed, it is unnamed in this description for its own protection.)  Fortunately, few of the executives in his organization have the time to surf the internet so for the time being his career is safe. However, should any of them be reading this, he wants them to know that none of this material in ORG Shots is inspired by his personal experiences in the organization. All the bad "shots" can be attributed to either a wild imagination or his personal experiences with outside consultants.  The cartoonist would never think of using actual organizational or management foibles for material in his business panel.

Furthermore, he would never dream of using material from his own beloved family for the ANAK panel.   The dad bashing that occasionally occurs in this caveman panel should not be attributed in any way to his daughter or son.  As for the husband bashing that is evident,  he would never accuse his lovely wife of such a thing.  Once again, it is the product of a wild imagination.

As a world class athlete, Frank is uniquely qualified to make fun of anything associated with sport as seen in his Sport Shots panel.  O.K. so maybe "world class athlete" overstates it a bit.  Let's just say he plays golf with the same passion and strength he did when he was a young man.  Stated another way, he can still throw a golf club as far as he could in his younger years.  Of course, now he is a little more accurate.  Speaking of high blood pressure, it leads us to another emerging cartoon panel, MED Shots.  For some reason, Frank's trips to the doctor's are occuring more frequently.  That can only mean one thing, he has time to think of a lot of cartoons in the waiting room.

As for the EKLEKTIK panel, well it should be evident that this wild imagination can wander anywhere.

Frank's cartoons have been published in magazines, books and newsletters internationally.  He test markets his cartoons in his own organization to ensure that the material is fresh and relevant and to make sure that management is awake during meetings.
